Overall an amazing stay for family vacation. Small hotel in a good area next to the beach, restaurants and a handy Walgreen's next door, Dunedin or Tarpon Springs and the Pier, bars, restaurants. Amazing and good food.

excellent location, outdoor pool area, free parking
Control of the air conditioning unit left much to be desired!!! The bedding cleanliness definitely needs more attention, as initial impressions can be deceiving!!! Amenities in the room could use some updates too!!!

The location and view are great and the hotel is convenient to everything in the Clearwater Beach area. The owners and staff are super nice and go out of their way to make sure everything about your stay is comfortable. We also liked having kitchen facilities in the room and a gas grill on the pool deck. Very family friendly and quiet.

The kids enjoyed the pool.
We adults missed the opportunity to make egg and bacon in the morning in our own kitchen.

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were spacious and well kept. The pool was in excellent condition. The location was great right by Pier 60 and the Clearwater Aquarium.
$200 a night was somewhat pricey, $150 would have been better.

One good thing about the Barefoot Bay Resort was it's location. It was the very first hotel when you crossed the last bridge to get into down town clearwater. It was very easy to find and a 2 min walk to Clearwater beach. There were alot of great places to eat near by and alot of local attractions. The hotel also has it's own jet ski place on the back side you can ret from. I was in Miami and Orlando before coming here and they have by far the cheapest jet ski rides I have seen. If you want open water riding and go as fast as you want along with seeing some celeb houses this is the best for your money right at the hotel.
There are only 15 rooms in this hotel. So it is very small and sometimes hard to get service with the main desk only open for 8 hours a day. Also when I got to the hotel there was a unexpected pay. The web site does not say nor does Booked.net but you have to be 25 to rent a room at this place. So with that I was unable to get the room I orginally had and they moved us to a smaller beachfront room(which I am not complaining about because it had more then enough room). But all in all I had to pay an extra $200 for the room.

It was just an appropriate option for a city escape in Clearwater Beach with all in all great value for money. The staff was very helpful and friendly. For a quiet experience, go for a room away from the street.

The bright colors on walls. Close proximity to beach and Crabby Bill's and Pier 60. Pool appears to be OK but was too cold to try it out. Front desk gentleman very kind and helpful upon arrival.
Bed mattress needs to be replaced; very saggy. Bathroom floor very soiled and not clean looking -- smelled. Carpet coming loose by door entry to room; tripped on it. Very noisy location with busy traffic on road right there.
